Recipes for a Happy Tummy

Sarah Radford Nutrition Coach Crafers Adelaide

From my kitchen to yours

All of these recipes come from my kitchen tried and tested on a family of 4 including my 2 girls and a husband! Having gone from including meat as regular ingredients in our meals to plant-based has not been easy but I am very proud to say that we all feel better with improved digestion, moods, sleep, concentration and general overall wellbeing. I hope you enjoy these recipes as much as us and please message us with any comments or feedback.  Feel free to adjust the recipes to your own taste. Enjoy!

Gut Inflammation Recipes

I have specifically created recipes that cater for those with active gut inflammation i.e., flare up of Crohn’s disease or Ulcerative Colitis. Simply look for the intestine symbol with a shield in the top right-hand corner to identify it as a gut friendly one. And if you have any questions or comments, drop me a line via the contact page.

Breakfast Recipes for a healthy gut

Breakfast Recipes

Breakfast can be so easily forgotten or the morning too rushed to make it a priority! I know the feeling. With 2 kids the mornings are always full-on making food for them, their lunches for school plus making sure they are ready to get out the door on time! And usually in there I need to eat something. I have pulled together some of my go-to recipes I call on when I’m in a hurry and need something nutritious but it will also give me the energy I need for the day. I have also included recipes that are for the mornings when I have the time to make something special and delicious (usually having to fight the kids and hubby off from eating it!!). I look forward to hearing your results and enjoyment of them.

lunch time recipes for a health gut

Lunchtime Recipes

By lunch time I am usually pretty hungry and need this meal to get me through the afternoon. These are great to pre-prepare the night before so you can grab them out of the fridge for a quick bite at work or home. Filled with nutrition, gut loving ingredients and of course flavour! Enjoy

Dinner Recipes for a healthy gut

Dinner Recipes

Family dinners are an important part of our routine, a time when we sit around the table together and catch up on the day’s activities. Some nights we are juggling sport and other after-school activities but it’s a priority to have a meal together most nights.

Sweet Treats + Snacks

Sometimes we just need a little something to keep the hunger pangs at bay before dinner! Or a sweet treat to satisfy that sweet tooth. With gut health at the forefront of my own focus, I always try to make foods that tick all of the healthy boxes. Whilst they will taste different to the sweet things you buy, you will find over time that you become used to the slightly less sweet taste and possibly find those old foods too sickly and rather processed (compared to what you have become used to!). Give these a try and eat with an open mind! Your gut will love you for it!
